Who are these guys?
We're Tsunami Warning, a band from Merced, California. Jack and Ziggy started it in 2022 and stockpiled a huge pile of songs. Hans moved in across the hall and got recruited. Keiran got shipped in from Mt. Shasta to play bass.
We've played house shows, put on concerts at the Partisan in Merced and The Queen Bean in Modesto, and opened for Green Jelly in Fresno. Our last two releases were recorded piece by piece: drums and rhythm guitar in a UC Merced practice room, everything else in an apartment. Ambient artist Jellous added the synths on By The Sea.
We're writing album number two. It's going great. (It's going okay.)
